Faces,
knowing them
recognizing them,
understanding them,
feeling them,
guessing them,
what does it take to ?
A stare in vain ?
A glance in pain ?
A peek at smile ?
Or the daily passing-by's.
The at-first-sight stories,
the deceived tragedies,
where's the beginning,
where's the end ?
of theses laces,
oh un/known faces !

The profiles,
sad, happy pictures,
a novel for some,
a cover for some,
evil blank spots -
biased judgments.
A cruel face -
and hidden sentiments,
the daily by-passers,
the never-met acquaintances,
the threads of words,
the metaphors,
wide, lucky foreheads,
pearls, blue seas, marbles,
pimple/drainage of the mind,
apple like cheeks,
the soft petals,
the dimpled chins,
what makes a face ?
what describes a face ?
what face describes the person ?
what face knows another face,
and not ponder,
if they're known,
if they're understood,
if they're felt!
I look around these faces,
and look for a reflection,
these un/known faces!
